Let Chicago Printworks Help Find Your Missing Pet

We Love Our Pets

At Printworks, we all have a love for animals, and are pet owners ourselves. We’re not dog people, we’re not cat people, we’re pet people. We consider our pets to be members of our families, and can understand the fear and anguish that comes along with having a pet that is lost.

We Want to Help You Find Your Missing Pet

Now that warmer weather is here, it’s an unfortunate truth that the number of missing pets will be on the rise. We’ve decided that we’d like to help how we can, and that providing free lost pet posters is the way we can best assist. We feel that when looking for a lost pet, the last thing that you should need to worry about is finding a way to print posters. If you, a friend or loved one in Chicago has a missing pet, we would love to help bring them home.

Free Missing Pet Posters

The process is simple: If you are in Chicagoland, contact us with a PDF of your 8.5 x 11 poster and we will print 25 posters free of charge, and we’ll be in touch as soon as your posters are ready to be picked up. We will have them ready for you as soon as we can, as we know that getting the word out as soon as possible will help the chances of your pet being returned. We can also post your missing pet notice to our social media accounts, should you want us to.

How to Create a Design For Your Missing Pet Poster

With time being a factor, a simple design is usually best. The most important aspect of a lost pet poster is being sure that all pertinent information is included. Having a lost pet is an incredibly stressful and difficult experience, so be sure to double check that all necessary information is on your poster and displayed correctly. Make certain there is a good, clear photograph that highlights your pet’s face or unique characteristics.

Very Important Details
  • Pet name (or what he/she responds to)
  • Breed
  • Gender
  • Unique markings
  • Last location seen
  • Good, clear, identifiable photograph
  • The best way to contact you
Additional Details if Necessary
  • Unique Markings
  • Reward, if any (this isn’t always a great idea, due to scams)
  • Personality traits
  • Collar (if any)
  • Whether or not to approach your pet
